Household membrane gas meters (G1.6; G2.5; KG4) are designed to measure the amount of natural gas according to GOST 5542-87 or liquefied petroleum gas vapors according to GOST 20448-90, as well as other non-aggressive gases used for household and industrial purposes, passed through them to the consumer.

Peculiarities

The direction of gas flow is indicated by an arrow on the meter body. Gas meters comply with the requirements of technical conditions STB 1159-99 and international recommendations OIML No. 6; No. 31.

Distinctive properties

Heat resistance in accordance with the requirements of international standards and STB8001-93 - + 6500C. Has no analogues in the Republic of Belarus. A synthetic membrane is used, the body is made of galvanized steel (hot zinc).

A magnetic coupling is used that does not require maintenance during the entire service life (it has no analogues in the Republic of Belarus).

All types of meters are manufactured with a left or right input.

Description

The meter consists of a non-separable sealed housing, the two halves of which are connected to each other by a metal shell, a measuring mechanism mounted inside the housing, and a counting mechanism.

The gas passing through the meter fills two chambers in turn and imparts reciprocating motion to the membranes, which, by means of a lever transmission, rotate the cam mechanism.

The cam mechanism provides for the slide valve distribution of gas across four chambers and, through the drive, transmits rotation to the digital meter proportional to the passage of gas.

Installation and operation rules.

The meter is installed and dismantled on gas networks that have passed tests in accordance with the current regulatory documents for the network and only by specialized organizations licensed by the State Nuclear Supervision Authority.

The meter must be installed with a shut-off valve in front of the meter. The meter must be mounted permanently in a vertical position (with the nozzles facing up). When installing the meter outside the premises, it is necessary to protect it from precipitation, dust, direct sunlight, chemically aggressive environments, shocks and vibrations.

When preparing the meter for installation, it is necessary to prevent foreign objects from entering the meter through the opening of the nozzle.

When testing the gas pipeline with increased pressure (more than 15 kPa), the meter must be disconnected from the gas pipeline.

The meters have certificates of the type of the Republic of Belarus, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Azerbaijan.
